The blanket of rotary drum transfer machine has generally been adjusted before leaving the factory. Because the blankets work at a high temperature of 250 °C, the cooling machine and the hot blanket have the phenomenon of heat expansion and cold shrinkage. Therefore, the deviation occurs at the beginning of printing.
1. During normal transfer, the blanket goes left, but can be turned back. At this time, the blanket goes right and stops at the side of the roller. Tighten the adjustment screw at the left end of the lower tension shaft (4) and loosen the adjustment screw at the right end of the lower tension shaft .
2. If the blanket is still going to the left after rectifying the deviation by using the above method, turn the high speed joint screw at the right end of the upper tension shaft and push forward 5-8mm
3. The blanket of calender heat press to the right, can drive the car back when the blanket to the left side of the big cylinder to stop, properly tighten the lower tension shaft (right side of the adjustment screw), after appropriate screw loose the lower tension shaft (left side of the adjustment screw) can be.
4. After rectifying the deviation with the above method, if the blanket of rotary drum transfer machine is still going to the right at this time, please turn the adjusting screw at the left end of the tension shaft and push forward 5-8mm.
Please refer to the following drawings for adjusting the position of the direction.
When debugging the rotary heat transfer machine, please learn from the debugging staff how to correct deviation. If the blanket runs out of place, please call the factory for advice.
Matters needing attention
1. In the normal transfer printing if encountered need to transfer the content is not ready, you can turn down the speed appropriately, it is best not to stop, lest the color deviation is too large, do not reverse, so as not to appear shadow.
2. After the use of the rotary drum transfer machine, the machine should still be in a rotating state, because the temperature is still very high after the use of the machine, and the service life of the blanket may be damaged after the shutdown, so the general power supply can only be turned off if the temperature is kept within a safe range.
3. If there is a power failure during the transfer printing, you should turn the hand wheel, so as to remove the blanket from the roller. The most important thing is to cool down the temperature. It is estimated that the rotation can only stop when the temperature drops to a safe range.
4. The machine at high speed operation, not positive and negative gear swap, so as not to burn out the fuse, can only be in the rotation speed to reduce the positive and negative gear swap.

When Do We Need A Rotary Drum Transfer Machine?
Rotary drum transfer machine is often used to print fabric continuously (roll to roll) and to print large fabric parts such as signs and banners which may be too large for a standard platen press. Drum machines can also be used to print sports apparel and other cut apparel parts. Drum machines are more productive than platen machines for sublimation printing on cut apparel parts and are therefore used when production volume is high. Drum machines are not used however to print onto rigid substrates such as wood, metal or ceramic tile.
What Are the Advantages of Using a Rotary Drum Heat Transfer Press?
Rotary Drum Heat Presses are typically more efficient then their platen counterparts. These types of presses eliminate the need for registration marks and garment templates. The garment parts – fronts, backs sleeves can be cut in quantity. The paper is printed in a roll and fed into the machine with the graphic facing up. The cut parts are placed down onto the paper as it is fed into the machine. This is a much more efficient way to run the work.
These advantages make Rotary Drum Presses ideal for production factories looking to operate efficiently in a lean manufacturing environment.
What’s the difference between a Rotary Drum Heat Press Vs. Platen Heat presses?
Platen presses are often used for printing on individual pieces such as cut apparel parts, T-shirts, sports apparel, tote bags, etc. Platen presses are also used to print on rigid substrates such as wood, metals and ceramic tiles.
